Witherfall Release Emotional “The River” Video

WITHERFALL RELEASE EMOTIONAL VIDEO FOR “THE RIVER” — WATCH

See and hear a very different side of WITHERFALL by checking out the highly emotional video for the new song “The River.”

Watch it here.

After their homages to throwback horror with the videos for “As I Lie Awake” and “The Other Side Of Fear,” the visual for “The River” finally shows a full band performance. The video was directed by Bradford Lloyd Cooper for Combobulated Arts Incorporated.

“‘The River’ is a song about singer Joseph Michael‘s deceased father. It refers to the family fishing spot up near Thousand Islands by the Canadian border of New York State. During the recording, tears were shed… Hopefully this song honors JM’s father appropriately. R.I.P., Kenneth Martin Furney,” the band shares about the song’s deeply personal meaning.

Witherfall’s new album Curse of Autumn is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 5 via Century Media, with the U.S. vinyl available April 2. Pre-order it here.

Fans can secure the 300x Gatefold Last Scar Blood Red (deep blood red vinyl) 2LP as well as shirts, hoodies, and more at the band’s site.

Witherfall also previously shared the songs “Another Face” and “The Last Scar.”
