The Lows’ Release Their Newest Album “This Is The Lows'”

The Lows’ unique blend of supersonic groove rock fuses modern production with traditional hard rock values and a true dedication for writing memorable hooks over heavy grooves. Singer/songwriter Angelo Coppola brought together his dream team of musicians with legendary Detroit bassist Wolf, the heavy hitting drum rhythms of Duane Hewins, and the dual guitar attack of Nick Behnan and Brandon McNall. With the band complete, The Lows began forging a refreshing new rebirth of rock music from Detroit.

The Lows performed sold out shows with Candlebox, Pop Evil, and Sponge, as well as numerous headlining spots. The song “Road Trippin’,” from The Lows EP, was licensed for the soundtrack of the NASCAR Heat 3 video game.

The Lows kicked off 2019 with four Detroit Music Award nominations and frontman Angelo Coppola being voted Best Music Artist in the 2019 Metro Times “Best of Detroit” reader’s poll. They opened sold out shows at The Fillmore Detroit with Candlebox and at The Machine Shop with Puddle of Mudd early in the year. The band kept it rolling by also supporting shows with Stone Temple Pilots at the Detroit Grand Prix, Sugar Ray, Sponge, and Hinder.

The current pandemic caused many of the band’s shows and festivals to be cancelled in 2020 and also postponed plans for new recordings. Rest assured, The Lows have been working diligently behind the scenes and they anxiously look forward to getting back at it with a renewed fire as soon as lock downs are lifted and businesses reopen.
