Memphis May Fire Share “Death Inside” Video

MEMPHIS MAY FIRE DROP VIDEO FOR ANOTHER BANGER WITH “DEATH INSIDE” — WATCH

Last month, MEMPHIS MAY FIRE  Matty Mullins (vocals), Kellen McGregor (guitar), Cory Elder (bass), and Jake Garland (drums) — returned to action with the explosive anthem “Blood & Water.” The crackling track quickly accumulated 5.5 million global streams in five weeks and over a million views on the video while cruising onto the SiriusXM Octane airwaves. Revolver called it a “return to form” and noted that the song boasted an “absurdly melodic lead lick that cuts through the chugging breakdowns like a hot knife on butter.”

Well, Memphis May Fire aren’t stopping there.

In fact, the band is only just getting started. MMF have just dropped the video for “Death Inside,” another new song. The track is a banger in which they explore some fresh sonic territory, while the visual finds the band in performance mode. After a year without live concerts, the video is an effective and in-your-face reminder of the band’s live energy and presence.

Watch it here.

“‘Death Inside’ is a new flavor for MMF,” Mullins explains. “I wanted to get out of my comfort zone with the vocals on this one and ended up discovering a sound that I think really caters to the concept. The song is about fear of death and the choice to either let it consume you or live life to the fullest. We are donating 100 percent of the profits from a new t-shirt in our merch store to one of my favorite non-profits called Living the Dream. LTD helps children and young adults living with life-threatening illnesses stay positive, maintain hope, and appreciate each and every day, regardless of their affliction.” The band’s merch store is here.

Memphis May Fire also have two festival dates on the docket. Both appearances are below, with more touring planned for the future.

MEMPHIS MAY FIRE TOUR DATES:
7/15 — Cadott, WI — Rock Fest
7/16 — Mineral City, OH — Alive Festival

Over the course of their career, Memphis May Fire have channeled a generation’s worth of angst, frustration, and pain, with a focused blend of gigantic melodic hooks and crushing aggression. Even after topping Billboard’s Hard Music Albums chart, having an album debut at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200, and breaking into radio’s Active Rock Top 20, Memphis May Fire refuse to sacrifice who they are or the people who made them.

A new season unfolds for the band, and it’s filled with revitalization and renewal. Stripping things down to their core elements, hearkening back to the days when they created the music their fans most cherish, Memphis May Fire rekindled the spark within to build an inferno of riffs and inspirational words. They have returned to their roots with the seasoned polish earned through years of touring and making music together. “Blood & Water” is proof positive of this fact.

Memphis May Fire have toured with a vast list of important rock and metal acts that include Killswitch Engage, Sleeping With Sirens, Black Veil Brides, Sevendust, and Atreyu. They’ve co-headlined with Yellowcard and The Devil Wears Prada, regularly appeared on Warped Tour, and at major rock festivals. The band’s previous six albums’ continued relevance is a testament to the energized connectivity between the band and their audience. Songs like “Miles Away,” “No Ordinary Love,” “Beneath the Skin,” and “Carry On” account for 100 million views and millions of streams.

Expect more anthems for the broken and beyond from Memphis May Fire in due course.
