FINLAND’S CELLO-ROCKERS APOCALYPTICA RESCHEDULES MAY 2020 NORTH AMERICAN DATES
“Hi guys…we surely are living in unbelievable times at the moment…”
— Apocalyptica’s Pettru Kivilaasko
LOS ANGELES, CA – Wednesday, March 25, 2020 – As Apocalyptica’s Pettru Kivilaakso says in the accompanying video message, “Hi guys…we surely are living in unbelievable times at the moment…”
Due to the current global health crisis as well as government-imposed travel and live performance restrictions, Finland’s Apocalyptica is rescheduling all U.S. and Canada dates on the band’s 2020 “Cell-0 World Tour.” This decision was made following the recommendations and legal regulations of government authorities including the Center for Disease Control to reduce the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).  Please hold on to your tickets and VIP packages as they will be honored on the new, rescheduled dates, listed below.
“So meanwhile,” Pettru adds, “listen to good music, listen to Cell-Zero, try to stay positive, and remember that Apocalyptica loves you and we will go through this all together.  See you soon.”

ABOUT APOCALYPTICA

Finland’s multi-Platinum cello-rock band Apocalyptica – classically trained cellists Eicca Toppinen, Perttu Kivilaakso, and Paavo Lötjönen, and drummer Mikko Sirén – is known for its moving and bombastic live performances with sparse production, but an abundance of head-banging.  Anyone who might that there wouldn’t be a deluge of excitement with three cellists should think again…these are symphonic rock stars who know how to shred their bows.  On January 17, the band released its first instrument album in 17-years, Cell-0 (Silver Lining Music), an album bristling with an epically baroque life and energy, and one that found the musicians challenging themselves to discover new flavors and colors in their respective instruments.  To check out Apocalyptica and Cell-0, go to this location:
