A Perfect Circle are keeping the momentum rolling. The alternative rock group, led by guitarist Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan, have released their latest single, “To Whom It May Concern,” marking their second new track of 2026. The release arrives as their previous single, “Starless,” reaches No. 1 at Active Rock radio, giving fans plenty of reason to look forward to what comes next.
Alongside the new music, the band has announced an extensive North American tour for spring 2027, bringing A Perfect Circle to stages across Canada and the United States, including two iconic stops at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
The new single, written earlier this year, was recorded at Howerdel’s Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California. Howerdel handled production, with Matty Green, whose previous credits include U2, Florence + the Machine, and TV on the Radio, taking on mixing duties. Longtime collaborator Josh Freese returns on drums.
For Howerdel, the release comes with an extra reason to celebrate. The success of “Starless” has helped build excitement around the band’s latest material, and he is eager to share more with listeners.
“It’s exciting to finally get some new music out into the world, and seeing ‘Starless’ reach #1 at rock radio this week has made it even sweeter!” Howerdel said. “The outpouring of support is so very much appreciated. ‘To Whom It May Concern’ is next up! More to come.”
A Perfect Circle and Puscifer Team Up for Canadian Dates
The 2027 tour kicks off April 13 in Vancouver, British Columbia, before moving through several major Canadian cities. Fans in Canada will get an especially interesting lineup, as Puscifer will join A Perfect Circle for all Canadian performances, along with the April 25 stop in Detroit.
Keenan, who fronts both projects, shared his enthusiasm for bringing the two bands together on the road.
“Very much looking forward to pulling double duty through Canada with A Perfect Circle and Puscifer,” Keenan said. “Been way, way too long. New tunes, new dance moves, new hair hats. Figure it out. #figureitout”
Following the Canadian and Detroit dates, The Cult will join A Perfect Circle as support for the remaining U.S. shows, beginning April 27 in Boston and continuing through the tour’s June 13 finale in Phoenix.
The itinerary includes stops at some of North America’s most recognizable concert venues. Among the highlights are Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 27, the Hollywood Bowl on June 6, and two consecutive Las Vegas performances at Fontainebleau on June 10 and 11.

A Legacy That Continues to Evolve
Since forming in 1999, A Perfect Circle have built a catalog that has secured their place among the defining alternative rock acts of their generation.
Their 2000 debut, Mer de Noms, made an immediate impact, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and becoming a platinum-selling release. Tracks such as “Judith,” “3 Libras,” and “The Hollow” helped establish the band’s distinctive identity, blending Howerdel’s atmospheric guitar work with Keenan’s unmistakable vocal delivery.
The group continued that creative trajectory with Thirteenth Step in 2003 and eMOTIVe in 2004, before returning in 2018 with Eat the Elephant. The latter debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, demonstrating the band’s continued commercial reach after a lengthy gap between studio albums.
Over the years, A Perfect Circle have headlined festivals around the world and sold out major venues, including Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the Hollywood Bowl. Their appearances on programs such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Tonight Show have also brought their music to audiences beyond the traditional rock concert circuit.
With “Starless” now reaching the top of Active Rock radio and “To Whom It May Concern” adding another chapter to the band’s 2026 output, A Perfect Circle are entering their next touring season with fresh material and an expansive schedule ahead.
For longtime listeners, the upcoming tour offers an opportunity to revisit the band’s extensive catalog while discovering where its latest music is headed.
