My Fan Club Years with Kevin DuBrow and Quiet Riot
Missy Whitney ran the Quiet Riot Squad Fan Club before, during and after the release of the #1 Billboard charted album, Metal Health, which came out in 1983. She selected favorite stories and personal experiences working with Kevin DuBrow, Quiet Riot, as well as fan stories during the time Quiet Riot blew up the airwaves and MTV. The book was completed earlier this year and features photos from the classic line up in 1983 from photographer, Mark “WEISSGUY” Weiss as well as photos from Ron Sobol who was the original Quiet Riot photographer from the Randy Rhoads years.
The book, “Keep On Rollin'” will be published and released in honor of Kevin’s 65th birthday with the Foreword written by the original Quiet Riot bass player, Rudy Sarzo. A portion of all book proceeds will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Cure Foundation in memory of Frankie Banali.
