TWLOHA Partners with Alone Together Music Festival

To Write Love on Her Arms
In Support of Mental Health Awareness
Virtual Festival Taking Place August 22nd-23rd
Melbourne, FL – August 11, 2020 – Non-profit organization, To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is excited to announce that they have partnered with Alone Together Music Festival. Taking place August 22nd-23rd, the virtual festival aims to support and spread positivity throughout the community as it tackles pressing issues faced today. Sponsored by Bumble and partnering with premier mental health awareness charities including TWLOHA, Active Minds, and The Black Mental Health Alliance, ATMF is taking the virtual space by storm, pioneering a new first-of-its-kind festival featuring special guest host MATOMA. With help from the acclaimed EDM YouTube channel Proximity, who led the charge for the highly successful Digital Mirage virtual festivals, ATMF is bringing together artists who wish to use their talent and platform to promote and influence their fans to have a positive mindset in life.
It’s perhaps the understatement of the century to say that 2020 has not turned out like any of us had expected. Even eight months into this year, it is still easy and justifiable to feel dizzied and isolated by these unique times,” shares TWLOHA director of outreach, Chad Moses. “Yet, despite those challenges we have been encouraged by the creative solutions that entertainers and artists have brought to the forefront, and we are honored to be included in the conversation that ATMF is curating in the hopes of building a bridge to community, to hope, and to help.”
He continues: “This summer we have had to replace festival fields with living rooms, camping tents for roofs, and subwoofers for headphones; but HOPE remains. Your story has not been cancelled. And we remain steadfast in the belief that better days are ahead. In the meantime, we cannot wait to experience this festival with you – physically distanced, but inextricably together.”
Founders Shrenil Shaun Sharma and Brennan Adams came up with the idea to incorporate a mental health speaker series called the Positive Vibes Speaker Series presented by Bumble, where artists will answer questions curated by the charity partners that open a conversation about how they use their music to tackle personal struggles with mental health. By having artists opening up about their own experiences on the topic, ATMF hopes that others will realize that struggling with mental health is acceptable and perfectly normal, especially given the times.
Joining forces with Blake Coppleson, CEO of Proximity, ATMF has curated a star-studded lineup featuring the likes of Matoma, ShipWrek, Two Friends, ARMNHMR, NUKO, JVNA, Tritonal, and many more.
