Radikal Records is proud to announce the signing of RIP Youth, the American Australian DJ/writer/production duo consisting of Dylan Bowes and James Maas. After having penned a plethora of hits for a number of other artists, the longtime best friends felt the time was right to start curating their own artist project.
For their debut single, “You Love” the duo collaborated with a team of fellow Australians – the ARIA-nominated and multi-platinum selling DJ/Producers Bombs Away and soulful hit singer-songwriter Reigan (Sony Music Ent). The euphoric electro-pop single quickly became a hit, picking up major radio support all over Australia. Now, with the global release from Radikal Records and bolstered by new remixes, “You Love” is set to make waves worldwide.
Very much in the ballpark of Madeon, Calvin Harris, and Zedd/Alessia Cara, the empowering “You Love” is a perfect track for the summer, and just the start of big things to come from the production powerhouse of RIP Youth.
“We knew this song was special from the very beginning. We were pumped about the message and Reigan’s vocals were on point. The collab with Bombs Away was super exciting and we can’t wait to share this with everyone” – RIP Youth
With the new signing, RIP Youth is eager to release more music in 2020. In addition to some exclusive remixes of “You Love”, the duo plans to release several new singles with Radikal this year, with more details to come. Be sure to follow RIP Youth online for more updates.
“Once the lyrics for ‘You Love’ began to swirl, we realized we were tapping into something beautiful. It felt genuine. We spoke about living in the now, feeling the preciousness of time, and being grateful no matter the situation. We feel like it’s a message the world needs to be reminded of.” – Reigan
“We have been chomping at the bit to finally release this one! We had such a ball working together and are absolutely ecstatic to see everyone’s reaction!” – Bombs Away
