Trey Anastasio has announced the upcoming release of Trey Anastasio – Live and Acoustic, a new collection of stripped-down performances captured last year on his sold-out 2025 Spring Acoustic Tour. Produced by Vance Powell and featuring longtime collaborator Jeff Tanski on keyboards, Trey Anastasio – Live and Acoustic arrives via Rubber Jungle Records this Friday, April 3. Pre-orders/pre-saves are available now.

Trey Anastasio – Live and Acoustic captures Anastasio in his most intimate and revealing form, drawing from across his four-decade career, including such beloved songs as “Stash,” “Waste,” “Divided Sky,” and “Pebbles and Marbles.” The 22-song collection highlights the depth of Anastasio’s songwriting and the emotional core of each composition, with select arrangements enhanced by Tanski’s piano. Trey Anastasio – Live and Acoustic offers a rare, front-row perspective on Trey Anastasio’s ongoing body of work thus far – unfiltered, expressive, and deeply personal.

A new run of intimate headline dates, dubbed “An Acoustic Evening with Trey Anastasio,” begins May 26 at Portland, OR’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and then continues through a pair of sold-out shows at Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre on June 23-24. In addition, Anastasio is set for two very special orchestral concerts, accompanied by The Colorado Symphony for a sold-out show at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 7, and The Kansas City Symphony for a sold-out performance at Kansas City, MO’s Helzberg Hall, Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts on June 10. All shows will feature Jeff Tanski. For complete details and remaining ticket availability, please visit trey.com/tour.

ABOUT TREY ANASTASIO:

Over the past four decades, composer/guitarist/vocalist Trey Anastasio has forged a singular, multi-faceted career, winning acclaim and garnering accolades across myriad genres and disciplines, including rock, classical, musical theatre, and more. Named by Rolling Stone as one of “The 250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time,” Anastasio has received three GRAMMY® Award nominations and, in 2013, received a Tony Award nomination honoring his work co-writing the score for the Broadway musical Hands on a Hardbody. An accomplished composer and arranger, Anastasio has performed his original compositions with numerous symphonies, including The New York Philharmonic, The National Symphony Orchestra, The Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Boston Pops, and many more.

Anastasio, along with Jon Fishman (drums, vocals), Mike Gordon (bass, vocals), and Page McConnell (keyboards, vocals), formed Phish in 1983 in Burlington, VT, and together have since earned one of music’s most dedicated fan communities for its blend of distinctive songcraft, extended improvisation, and immersive live performances, all fusing a variety of genres into their own freewheeling sound and vision. The band has released 16 studio albums and is widely recognized as one of live music’s most beloved and inventive artists.

Phish has played over 2,000 shows since their formation, regularly selling out multiple nights at arenas, amphitheaters, and stadiums across North America. To date, the band has performed 87 sold-out shows at The Garden since their debut there in 1994. In addition, Phish have influenced a new generation of American rock festivals through 11 self-produced festivals, including, most recently, 2024’s Mondegreen, which was celebrated in a GQ feature that hailed them for “what may be the most singular and stubbornly idiosyncratic career of any major American rock band.” In 2024, the band performed a four-night sold-out run at Sphere in Las Vegas, the second act to perform there following U2’s inaugural run at the groundbreaking venue. This spring will see Phish return to Sphere Las Vegas for an eagerly awaited, sold-out nine-night residency set for April 16-18, April 23- 25, and April 30-May 2.
