This new project is a unique combo of thrash meets redneck, and audiences are given a taste for all of Xscäpe Göte’s varied influences. Tinges of Zeppelin meet a more modern, experimental metal and grunge. Songs like “Huckleberry” tune into classic rock icons of the 70s, while “Restless No More” showcase the slower, sultry guitar reminiscent of artists of the time. On the complete other end of the spectrum, tracks like “Everything Reminds Me of You” and “Basshole” showcase the group’s funkier, Southern/Redneck influence.
With Ash Lee serving as the writer, lead vocalist, and guitarist for the project, S.J. on drums, battering ram and vocals, and Myles Long on bass and backup vocals, the trio utilizes rock n roll influence from all decades, promising to bring something to the table for all listeners across the board. Along with help from producer Stephen Powell, and Preserved Sounds Recording Studio, “Yard Sale” is a record for rock n roll lovers of all generations.
With influences ranging all the way from Jimi Hendrix, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, to Metallica and Megadeth, Xscäpe Göte’s music combines classic country and rock. Their sound is heavy, raw, and full of energy that raises your heart rate and gets your blood pumping during bombastic onstage performances.
Their hopes for the future entail a Europe tour to establish a worldwide fan base, as well as many upcoming shows in the U.S. that will be posted on their Facebook page and website, including August 17th at Twist of Lime in Metairie, LA, and on September 28th at Downtown Music Hall in Fort Walton Beach. Xscäpe Göte will be recording another upcoming album in January of 2025, and plan to release albums annually following this release.
