Valley Latini, NY-based Columbian artist, shares sultry single “Blue Moon”

(NEW YORK, NY) AUGUST 27, 2020 — Valley Latini, the New York based Columbian artist known for her hit “Pay My Rent,’’ is back with the slow burning late night ballad “Blue Moon,” equipped with a satin filled DIY music video filmed, directed and styled by Jeannette Reza, and produced by Harper James. “Blue Moon” was created by Valley in her home during quarantine and has the sound of a modern waltz ballad filled with nostalgic synths. Variance Magazine, who debuted the song earlier this week, describes it as, “moody and personal.”

Valley shares, “I was always inspired by big ballads, and I always wanted to write one. I was listening to a lot of Lykke Li at the time I wrote this song. It is mainly about being lonely in love. The song started in my loft apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I played the whole thing on my Korg SV1 and recorded the demo in Logic Pro. It started as a demo, and then I took it to producer Harper James, who helped me take my vision to the next level. This is the first track that I feel the most authentic and truest to who I am as an artist out of all of the music that I’ve released in the past. This is definitely my most vulnerable song to date.”

In addition to her career as a singer-songwriter, Valley is also an artist and a stripper. She uses her artwork as a way to escape from technology and defines it as transgressive divinity, mixing sensuality with alternate realities.
