Hot on the heels of the release of his HeadspaceEP, British singer and songwriter Maddox Jones is set to launch the Subba-Sessions, a live-stream show being hosted on StageIt.com. The livestream will be an intimate ticketed show and will take place this Thursday, July 23 at 12:30pm PDT / 3:30pm EDT / 8:30pm BST. Tickets are 50 notes (StageIt’s digital currency – the equivalent of $5) and can be purchased here. Maddox will be performing a live version of the five-track EP – which features the recently released afterparty anthem “My House” and the kaleidoscopic title track, “Headspace” – along with brand new material.
The Headspace EP spent its first week of release in the top 10 of the UK iTunes singer/songwriter chart and has received praise from likes of American Songwriter, SPIN, Complete Music Update and It’s All Indie, among others.
“I’m incredibly excited to be part of the Subba-Sessions and I’m looking forward to playing Headspace in its entirety,” Maddox exclaims. “I’m so grateful for all the support my fans have provided, especially through lockdown as I’ve been unable to play to live audiences. And although some restrictions are being slowly relaxed, the safety of my fans is the most important thing to me, so at this time I’m very happy to be able to share my music with fans from all over the world in the safest way possible.”
Subba-Cultcha.com is a fan reviews platform for music & festivals and following launching Subba-Fest, a charity digital music festival featuring more than 50 artists from 3 continents, Subba-Cultcha.com has team up with StageIt.com, one of the worlds biggest live-streaming platforms to launch the Subba-Sessions. The live-streams will feature up-and-coming artists from around the world.
Mark Jennings, Subba-Cultcha.com’s CEO said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch the Subba-Sessions and couldn’t be happier that Maddox will be the first artist to kick things off. We were delighted when Maddox agreed to launch Subba-Fest and along with being a fan favourite he set an incredibly high bar for all the other artists involved. We’re firm believers that all artists should be paid for their performances and music and we’re delighted to have teamed up with StageIt to be able to provide a way for artists to generate revenue.”
