VARSITY WEEK Releases Debut EP, If You Only Knew via Another Century Records

Releases Debut EP, If You Only Knew
via Another Century Records
Today marks the release of Los Angeles, California’s alt-pop quartet Varsity Week’s debut EP, If You Only Knew, via Another Century Records (Century Label Group/Sony). Produced by Jim Kaufman [Atlas Genius, Night Riots, Anti-Flag] and Kenny Carkeet [Night Riots, Anti-Flag], the five song EP showcases Varsity Week’s impressive ability for crafting addictive pop hooks. If You Only Knew is available at the following digital retailers:

Vocalist Brandon Eisenbeis explains, “We didn’t know what to expect when ‘If You Only Knew’ came together. One part right place right time, two parts the right team that believes in it as much as we do. Not to say we didn’t endure a struggle – but the songs wouldn’t have been as cool without it. It was a lifetime opportunity, and that’s apparent in the tracks.

Guitarist Dave Orton adds, “We pored over ‘If You Only Knew’ for months, really woke up breathing it in everyday.  It’s always on your mind. You catch yourself humming the bits, and you never think about it being released. It’s surreal. Now that it’s here, I couldn’t be more stoked for people to hear it and make it their own. That’s gonna be the raddest part of the process – screw what we think about it, it’s yours now.”

If You Only Knew features Varsity Week’s acclaimed single “ Anyways,” which hit #1 on the Top 5 of KROQ’s Locals Only show– a weekly program on  The World Famous KROQ which features some of the best local music coming out of Los Angeles. The visually stunning music video for “Anyways” was directed by  Ryan Pesecky, and is currently in rotation at Gold’s Gym, Bally’s Fitness, and a number of fitness facilities nationwide.
