Perdition Booking – a company started by one of the creators of Maryland Deathfest — has officially taken on full-time booking duties, expanding the company’s reach into the metal underworld.
Founded by one-half of the company responsible for conceiving and booking the massive rosters for Maryland Deathfest, California Deathfest, Netherlands Deathfest, Days Of Darkness, and much more, Perdition Booking owner Evan Harting has over a decade of experience booking shows, festivals, and complete tour packages for extreme metal acts throughout the world. With a thorough and hands-on approach, the outfit aims to ensure that their client’s performances are both highly visible and well attended.
Perdition Booking now expands into full-time booking, and has already started routing and announcing tours and events for the upcoming months. At press time, the company has confirmed several events, including a special one-off show for Finland’s Oranssi Pazuzu at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar this Friday, May 26th as the band makes their US debut for Maryland Deathfest. Perdition has also booked an August US tour for Switzerland’s Bölzer and Sweden’s Trepaneringsritualen. The company’s full-time roster currently includes artists such as Aeternus, Asphyx, Bölzer, Crurifragium, Dead in the Manger, Demilich, Demoncy, Funebrarum, Goat Torment, Putrisect, Scorced, Skeletal Remains, and more.
The full-time expansion of Perdition Booking will be celebrated with an official launch party at The Ottobar in the company’s home base of Baltimore on July 15th with food, drinks, free swag, and METAL! Misanthropic Art will be set up with prints and artwork including this signed and numbered limited print that will be exclusive to this event.
