OFF BRAND NEW EP CENTERPIECE
SAN ANGELO, TX | March 24, 2017 – San Angelo, TX based band, DozerTX have gained some esteem over the last year with their infectious, aggressive, yet emotional pop-punk style and unique dual vocalists. The band formed in 2014, when Kevin Cale (formerly of Handguns) wanted to branch out to write and release music on his own. After returning home from extensive touring, he reconnected with friends and other musicians to creatively form DozerTX, which consists of vocalist/bassist Miles Mcmillan, guitarist Eli Kypfer and drummer Mark Jimenez. Earlier this month, the band unleashed their sophomore EP Centerpiece which was produced by Luke Garrigus and Joey Hernandez at Blackroom Studios. Before the release, the band exclusively partnered with Already Heard to stream Centerpiece in full. Already Heard coins the band with having an emotional pop-punk sound that is certain to entice fans of The Story So Far and Basement.” Fans can stream the entire EP  HERE! Surrounding the difficulties faced with toxic relationships, Centerpiece was not only created to release the remnant burdens the band faced, but also further and relate to their listeners letting them know they are not alone. Mcmillan goes on in stating, “Never be afraid to put your happiness above someone else’s, especially if you aren’t happy with your life. Don’t let someone you love abuse you physically, verbally, or mentally and think it’s okay, stand up for yourself.”

DozerTX is an American rock band from San Angelo, Texas formed in 2014, when Kevin Cale (formerly of Handguns) wanted to branch out to write and release music on his own. After returning home from extensive touring, he reconnected with friends and other musicians to creatively form DozerTX, which consists of vocalist/bassist Miles Mcmillan, guitarist Eli Kypfer and drummer Mark Jimenez. The 4-piece attack both an aggressive yet emotional pop-punk style with dual vocalists to keep the listener guessing.
In 2015, the band kicked off with their debut EP Self Sabotage recorded, mixed and mastered by Luke Garrigus at Blackroom Studios which features hit single “Hollow” and toured extensively throughout Texas. It was in 2016 that momentum would pick up for the band with a hit performance at So What?! Music Fest and collaboration with Austin based band, Nominee. The two pair up with Luke Garrigus and Joey Hernandez at Blackroom Studios to put out a split in June 2016 featuring Dozer TX’s track “Paternal” which Sound In The Signals coins as “a straight-forward pop-punk summer jam.”
DozerTX make sure bring energy and life to and for their fans in every venture they pursue.
