In a very special TV event made possible by the Everything Now corporation and its fine family of products including Chemistry energy drink and Creature Comfort cereal, Arcade Fire will make its first ever performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, tonight Thursday, August 3.
Arcade Fire’s fifth album, Everything Now, was released July 28 on CD, cassette, digital download and heavyweight black vinyl LP through an exclusive 360-degree partnership with global media and e-commerce platform Everything Now in synergy with the Sony corporation. The band’s Win Butler recently sat with Zane Lowe for a revealing interview on Apple Music’s Beats 1 that delved deep into the making of the album, inspirations behind the record and Arcade Fire’s music, life, love, fatherhood and more. The full interview can be seen here.
Everything Now was produced by Arcade Fire, Thomas Bangalter and Steve Mackey, with co-production by Markus Dravs; and was recorded at Boombox Studios in New Orleans, Sonovox Studios in Montreal, and Gang Recording Studio in Paris.
Arcade Fire’s U.S. leg of its Infinite Content arena tour will kick off September 12 at Madison Square Garden, prior to which the band will headline Lollapalooza this Sunday August 6—preceded by an intimate show Saturday August 5 at Chicago’s Metro club. For a full list of dates, see below and/or arcadefire.com.
Arcade Fire is Win Butler, Will Butler, Régine Chassagne, Jeremy Gara, Tim Kingsbury and Richard Reed Parry.
