“LURK tend to be a pretty genre-defying punk band, and “
2043″ is a fine example of this. ” – Brooklyn Vegan
July 28, 2020 – Chicago, IL – Chicago-based punk-rockers LURK are injecting their unique fusion of retro-punk, electrically-charged guitar riffs and non-stop energy with their new single “2043.” Premiering today exclusively with Brooklyn Vegan, the track dives into the damage we as humans cause to the world around us because of our selfish desires.
In an exclusive chat with Brooklyn Vegan, Vocalist Kevin Kiley shares “In the wake of it, we deplete our natural resources, murder animals, lower the standards of education and now apparently accept living with a deadly virus. It goes without saying but we need to do better and need rapid change. “
