MAGGIE ROSE DISCUSSES HER MUSICAL JOURNEY ON NEW PODCAST SERIES PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE, LIVE! FEATURES INTERVIEW, LIVE PERFORMANCES AND CURATED PLAYLIST

“I think every artist who’s worth their salt should kind of feel like a fraud occasionally. We should all be trying to beat out what our last work was.”
– Maggie Rose
Osiris Podcasts releases the third episode of a new, multidimensional podcast series, Past, Present, Future, Live! featuring Maggie Rose. Singer-songwriter Maggie Rose is a prolific artist who has left her mark on multiple musical genres. In this episode, she joins RJ to talk about how she found her independence in the crowded Nashville Scene. Rose tells RJ about finding music as a kid and learning to sing before she could speak, making the decision to drop out of college and move to Nashville, and how she kept herself going when her career took a turn.
Rose performs “Help Myself,” a new track from her forthcoming album at the end of the episode, along with a cover of Phish’s “Shade” and Curtis Mayfield’s “People Get Ready.” You can see videos of these and all Past, Present, Future, Live! exclusive live performances on the Osiris Media Youtube channel.

An exceptionally versatile vocalist and songwriter, Maggie released Change The Whole Thing to critical acclaim in 2018. NPR says the Maryland native is the newest member of a class of young pop crossovers, while American Songwriter calls Maggie a “soulful showstopper.” Named a YouTube Emerging Artist and a Pandora Artist to Watch, she’s charted Top 40 country hits, opened shows for pop icon Kelly Clarkson, performed on the Americana-oriented Cayamo Cruise, and earned praise from the jam-band community with her groove-heavy live show, which features her backup band Them Vibes. On her upcoming album, she doubles down on her own sound: a swaggering blend of soul and American R&B, with her vocals and sharply-written songs leading the charge. She debuted “Help Myself” during a multi-cam, full band live performance (shot in 4K), which streamed on NPR and Nugs.net.
You’ll find original versions of these tracks, as well as other songs and artists mentioned in this episode, on Rose’s Past, Present, Future, Live! Spotify playlist.
